Desiree called me in the Fall to book this session. She knew she’d be well along in her pregnancy, and although we knew the shoot would be in February, she wanted it on the beach. Lucky for us, it was the nicest February day, like, ever! 60 degrees and foggy! That is a gift from the universe for a photographer. A native Hammontonian, Desiree has had many summers on the Margate beaches, and she says they are full of memories. So photographing her there was perfect. I always want my clients to feel comfortable and connected with the space where we shoot. I had met Desiree’s stunning family at their Holiday Mini last November. I met Scarlett, the fabulous soon-to-be big sister, who I could literally photograph all day long. She is so smart and was just so easy going. A 6 year old with an old soul. And Sean, the proud Papa, beamed throughout the whole shoot. This family was absolute magic. They brought a loving energy to the afternoon and I did my best to capture every moment they gave me. All the best to this growing family. Can’t wait to meet baby #2!
Scarlett’s outfit: Mustard Pie
Mom’s Boots: Coach
CoreySuch a wonderful maternity session with this beautiful family! I love that they had it at the beach – the light was so pretty!
AllisonOh that foggy light! How lucky you were to have such a perfect beach day in February at Margate because it made the maternity session just perfect. Mom is stunning with her black dress and I really like the formal look of it against the sand and New Jersey sunset.
Jennifer Rittenberry PhotographyOh My GOSH! There is nothing that I don’t love about this sunset beach maternity session. Your clients are gorgeous and you can tell that momma really knows her fashion. You rock the outdoors like nobody’s business and I am going to have to travel to South Jersey all the way from Kentucky just to get some family photos on that beach with you!
