Woooooph this wedding was amazing. There was something very Great Gatsby about it- the dresses, the bride & groom, so much elegance…and so many people! There were 30 people in this bridal party. That was not a typo- 30 friends and family members participated in this wedding. And even more amazing than that number was the fact that they were all, every single one of them, so cool. This was a rockin’ wedding party!
Brenna and Sam tied the knot at St. Simon Stock Parish in Berlin and followed with a fantastic reception at Brigalias. In between the venues, we returned to the place where I shot their engagements, a friend’s field in Folsom, and it was a great place for the formals.
Some background for you all- I actually went to high school with Sam’s sister, and I also photographed some of his nieces for a Halloween Session while back. And if you look carefully, those photographs are in the background of some of the shots of the groom’s family. I love it! The whole family is so sincere and sweet. And speaking of sweet, I have to mention the bride’s rosary beads. Brenna’s rosary belonged to her grandfather’s great-grandmother, so what’s that, 4 generations? Beautiful. It brings a tear to my eye to to have such sentimental clients.
To have the opportunity to work with these wonderful families completely fills my heart with gratitude. Congratulations to Brenna and Sam. I hope your lives are full of love and laughter. <3Brenna’s Flowers: Mums The Word
