The last time I saw Mason and his family was for my Holiday Minis. So I was pumped when mom Kendall (gorgeous BTW) booked a Cake Smash for Mason’s First Birthday. I first met him when he was just a few days old. You can even see him holding the newborn photo of himself in one of these shots. Now, I gotta say, he has always been cute, but now this boy is just downright handsome. Maybe I am a sucker for redheads. Maybe it’s the suspenders and loafers. But whatever it is- this kid has got it!
We started with pics of Mason and his parents, he was a little shy at first and this really helped him feel comfortable. We slowly worked up to some solo shots and finally ended with the cake. The CAKE!! This Colossus of a all cupcakes was made by Allison Chanson. It was huge! and it a was perfect for this shoot, Mason thought so too. Once he was comfortable and happy, Mason set into the cake like only a one year old could! He loved it- blue icing everywhere… And who cares, that’s what is its for! He was having a blast and so was I. It was another great session that left me hoping I would see the whole family again soon. Love this job.
