Lucy the goose was on the loose! I first photographed this little lady when she was just 7 days old. Now look at her! Although this cutie is full of charm, she is also tough – just like brothers Oliver and Cole are teaching her to be. Mom Colleen and I go back to high school, we met playing on the softball team. She and her husband Josh are co-owners of the fabulous Farm and Fisherman, so I was super happy they were able to find time for this session at Amalthea Cellars. I get to know this family more each time I shoot them, and it never ceases to amaze me how easy they are in front of my camera. And how genuine their love for each other is. November is the time for thankful reflection, and I am so grateful this family keeps coming back to me to document their lives.
