A Lake Wedding in New Jersey
Seeing a couple finally tie the knot is one of the most beautiful things I witness regularly. Especially when the venue is as beautiful as this. Chris and Kelsey got married on a gorgeous day in July, at The Boathouse at Mercer Lake in West Windsor. Chris works at Batsto, and a friend of mine who also works there recommended me to take their photos. Christopher, who is also a photographer, did their engagement photos. However, he wanted to go to the wedding simply as a guest, and so he recommended me to take their weddings photos. And I am so happy that he did.
The sunset was so gorgeous, and it paired perfectly with the lake. The pictures of them during the sunset on the lake were so beautiful, and the lake was my favorite part of this shoot, along with the sheer love that they showed during it.
I only had just met the couple, but with all of the fun we had it felt like I knew them for 25 years. Kelsey works on a farm, so all of the flowers were freshly cut, and beautiful. During the reception, the sun was setting on the lake, making for some gorgeous photos! I am so proud of this shoot, and I am so happy for Chris and Kelsey. They are a beautiful couple and I wish them all the joy in the world!
