Well, it has been a while!
Between all the holiday magic, the parties, and the family gatherings, my blog kept falling off of my to-do list! But I am back, and I wanted to give you a peek of some of the Holiday Minis that I photographed right before the season began. Now, I have to say, this was my third year with the Holiday Minis, and I ALMOST didn’t do them. My Fall schedule is so packed and by the time these sessions come around I am already very busy. But, my office assistant talked me into it, and I am so happy she did! I shot over 30 Minis! Every year I rack my brain for a new look or location, specifically for my returning clients…I never want them to have a similar session. This year we decided to scratch Santa, and looked into vintage trucks. And then, my girlfriend reminded me that there was an old truck at the vineyard I was using- perfect! The night before the sessions I am always a nervous wreck- my perfectionism kicks in and I start to worry. But when the day comes, the sun pops out, the clients arrive, and everything flows like a well oiled machine. I really got some great shots this year! Enjoy…
