Me and this birthday girl go way back! Emersyn’s mom came to me for a First Year Journey, so I first met her when she was just a few days old. I have known her mommy and long time and her daddy even longer ( since grade school, we are even third cousins 🙂 )But look at her now- all grown up, turning the BIG ONE! Oh how fast it happens! She is always fun to work with, and entertaining too. On this day all she wanted were those crunchy leaves and my Beechwood apple crate to play on. I always LOVE mom’s wardrobe selection for these shoots. I always get lots of messages about wardrobe options prior to our sessions lol.  The colors and textures of the pieces really play well in these images. Not to mention Emersyn is so stunning!  And a cool tidbit for you loyal readers- that little rocking chair in the pics- my dad bought that for my nephew over 10 years ago! Cool huh? We went to Batsto for this session. It was cold but the late afternoon light made the little chill worth every minute. Happy birthday little lady, I hope I’ll see you all again cause you are a blast to shoot!
