Easter Minis were always an idea I tossed around. People had asked for a few years, but I just never fit it in. But this year I made it happen and the results were just so adorable. It all started when I was about to leave for a little getaway in the Florida Keys. I ran to Target to pick up some last minute things, and I literally stopped in my tracks when I saw that banner with the bunnies on it! It’s something I would have bought from Etsy in a second, but of all places Target had it. I don’t even know why I am surprised, they have the cutest stuff. So I wound up buying most of my props there that day, along with some travel shampoo and some SPF, of course. My trip was AH-MAZING (blog post coming soon…!) and although I was sad to leave, I had these minis on my schedule and that made me happy. Seven days later, I was back at home and in my studio. I decided to use my cream colored backdrop. I don’t use it often but Easter is light and bright and Spring-y, plus it complimented all the little people’s outfits. All of my clients that day were so happy- lot of smiles, laughter and totally comfortable in front of my lens. Among the clients there were my regulars, Stella and Allessio– the most stylin’ pre-schoolers I have ever met. I actually thought of them while I was in the Keys, their mama owns Fortuna Optical in Marlton. That’s where I get ALL my sunglasses which I wore every day when I was there. But anyway, all of my clients from these Easter Minis I truly adored- and the warm, smiley results tell it all. I think I will be visiting these minis again next year, and I hope to see all these adorable faces again in 2016! Happy Easter everybody!
