Well I knew this was coming, and I am not exaggerating when I say I literally spring into action when I got the call that Angela and her new twins were ready for their Fresh 48. I flew down 73 to Virtua Voorhees to the new Labor and Delivery to see the very new, very tiny Alana & Aria. This was the first time since Angela’s maternity session that I had seen her (so pretty, all the time). I just love Virtua it is always so impressive to photograph in. It was built around patient happiness, lots of windows, large private rooms- this is the place you want to be when you’re ready to have a baby. And as a photographer, this also makes my job even sweeter. The light was there, the space was attractive, the subjects were obviously wonderful. There is something so special about the first 48 hours with your newborn. That is why I love doing these sessions. These tiny moments are so fleeting. In a week, they will have changed so much already. Alana & Aria are twins but they are very different girls! Their skin tones are different, their little coos are distinctly different, and they even have different hair. So fascinating. Mom and Dad elected to use Hypnobirthing, and with the guidance of Dr. Kristen McCullen of Cherry HIll OB/GYN, these two little were brought into the world safely and with great love. I can’t wait to see this Alana & Aria and their family again soon. And until then I wish them great days, good sleeps, and lots of love.
