The blooming orchards was a great location for this adorable family. The evening sun shone bright to highlight the white flowers of the apple orchard. I received special permission from one of the many local farmers to use this location about 2 years ago and it quickly became a favorite especially when blooming. I have used it already many times this season. We were lucky to get a warm night to have some fun as the sun set in front of my lens.
I hadn’t seen this family in what seems like a few years. When Kim emailed to say she was pregnant again I was absolutely giddy to see them again. When years pass and you don’t hear from clients you don’t realize how much you miss photographing them. The loyalty of this little family gives me such a grateful heart. This was a quick little 20 minute session but their gallery was overflowing with loving candids with mom, dad, and little Callie. She is about to become a big sis and is just so excited to meet him/her. Mom’s dress along with the blooming flowers added a taste of spring/summer that I was literally dying for.
Kim signed up for another First Year Journey so we will be seeing them a few more times. She is due in mid June and I have a few new ideas up my sleeve for this special newborn session. I am so excited to meet he/she soon! To see more maternity sessions click here
