I have not blogged about it yet, but recently I bought a new prop. A big one. With four wheels. A 1983 cobalt blue Dodge pick-up truck that I found on Craigslist! So, needless to say, I was super….no….MEGA excited to use it but I knew I needed the perfect clients for the shoot. The more I rolled it over in my brain, the more I thought of Jennifer and her two boys. I know Jenn through the wedding industry. She owns Happily Ever After Hair, an on-location hair service for special events, and she is extremely busy. She is also a super-hero-level single mom to her boys Braden and Nick. So I thought this would be a perfect opportunity for Jenn, the truck, the boys, and me! I mean, it was an ideal idea….if I do say so myself lol. During the shoot I literally wanted to crawl through my lens and be a part of this experience. It exceeded my expectations. The love you see here is 100% true. These boys love their mama and she loves them right back- big time. I was so excited about these images, that I actually shot their Holiday Session right after this one! This truck was what initially excited me about this shoot, but very quickly the truck became secondary, and this beautiful family was all I could see.
