Graduating top 15% of her high school class at Hammonton High, Kaitlyn had her choice of many colleges throughout the country. After some VERY CAREFUL consideration, she finally chose St. Joe’s in Philly. And I have to say, I am glad. She’s my niece after all, and just also happens to be one of the World’s Best Babysitters! I can’t be losing Julia’s babysitter, let’s be honest, lol. I actually have been watching this girl grow up since she was younger than Julia- jeez, time does fly. Kaitlyn’s mom is my sister-in-law and owns Rejuvenation Day Spa right here in Hammonton. I was happy to do this shoot for the family, I love them dearly.
The local field was totally scouted out by Kait and when we pulled up I was stoked! We kind of missed the peak of the blooms but you would never ever know it by looking at these sweet photos. Sunflowers are such a perfect fit for this free spirit. Her shoot reminds me of that Lumineers song, Flowers in Your Hair…..LOVE that song. It’s kind of a great fit, actually. OH, and I photographed Kait over 15 years ago ironically with a flower in her hand.
Talk about foreshadowing! When I posted this originally I was thinking back about this picture, which I didn’t have. BUT her momma snapshotted it for me and so here it is! It is a quick snap shot from cell phone to email to photoshop so NOT the best quality but WHO CARES! It is so stinkin’ adorable and shows both mine and Kaitlyn’s evolution! Cheers to Kaitlyn, she is beautiful and brilliant. She is also a SERIOUS worker!
For several years this girl has held 1, 2, sometimes 3 jobs at once. Kudos Kait! May your future be filled with happiness, success, and love! But seriously, can you still come over and babysit Saturday, Mike and I have a date…? Oh and by the way….St. Joe’s University is lucky to have you <3
