What you are seeing right now is one of my proudest sessions of 2018. This is Easton, and he is one. This is the climatic end to Easton’s First Year Journey experience. This past fall I did his sitter session when this guy was just a little baby. But we blinked and now he is over one! Mom wanted a field of yellow flowers and I was able to grant her wish! This field is a private lot, the owner lives right next to it, and he lets me use it- exclusively. He has been known to chase photographers out of this field, but for some blessed reason, he likes me- and only me! I can’t lie- I do love that.
This place is magical and filled with purple and yellow flowers- yellow my favorite color. The color of the Summer, and the sun, and happiness and all that is bright. Yellow is the color that pulls me from the Winter blues and grays into the warmth of hope and love. Surrounding Easton in this color and meaning just made me smile for days. Look at his shirt! I want one! He wandered the field exploring. Smelling each flower, picking them, offering them to me and mom. It was marvelous. I am so proud of this work and I hope you enjoy looking at the images.
