Talk about personality, David is cock-full of it. Not to mention that he is completely adorable. This was another end to a First Year Journey Package, and I always find them very bittersweet. I mean, I am on a journey with these babies and families; I see mommy’s baby bump grow, I shoot the Newborn Session, then a little mid-year hello when they are sitting up, and then, BOOM- they are one and smashing a cake, and out the door. 🙁 My clients are fortunately very loyal, so I do get to see most of my babies again, but there is just something special about the FYJ sessions. I got to know David’s mommy very well, she is actually our travel agent at D’Amico Travel up on the Pike. But her family’s story lies in the blueberry fields of Hammonton and Trenton. They have owned Pineland Farms since 1989, and the blueberry business is still very important to her. Hence the blueberries on David’s cake. Those blueberries, plus that luscious blue frosting, made for one sticky birthday boy. So into the tub he went! I had to get some nudies of this little dude. In my line of work I see many many many baby bums. And David’s was just too cute not to shoot lol. And this kid was so happy to be in water! Look at his little face with the suds on it! I can’t with this boy. Ooo and by the way I know you spied that amazing vintage high chair. That is actually David’s, and it was a find at Abby’s Angel Kisses in Hammonton. Well, David my boy, I hope to see you soon. Until then you will remain in my heart with those sticky blue fingers and soapy suds on your sweet little face.
